I was born in England into a military family, the first of four sons.  We moved all over the United States while I was a kid.  Eventually we settled down for a while in a suburb of Washington, DC - long enough for me to make it through high school and graduate from Elon University.

I love to create.  I love music.  I love stories.  I spend a lot of time in Waffle Houses and on Civil War Battlefields.  There was a driving range across the street from my house down at school.  A good thing to do at night was to roam the range gathering stray golf balls and then throwing them all into a lake nearby.

I love the way that God is constantly drawing my attention to himself and to the mind blowing story of his Gospel, and the way that he continues to make it seem so new over and over again in my life. It is what keeps me alive.
